Early intervention
Play-based ABA in the early years, focused on communication, play, imitation and getting ready for school.
ABA therapy for children
We help children build communication, play, daily living and social skills through individualized, play-based ABA. Every plan is written and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and shaped by what matters most to your family.

Why Nido
NidoNEE-doh · Spanish for nest
A nest is where little ones grow strong enough to fly on their own. That's what we want for every child we work with: skills that carry into school, family life and the community.
Our storyOur approach
Your child is more than a list of goals, and your family is part of the team. Here's what that looks like day to day.
Every plan is individualized and starts with what matters to your family.
We use positive reinforcement and follow your child's interests.
Parent training and regular check-ins keep you involved and informed.
Our goal is to keep caseloads small so your BCBA truly knows your child.

FAQ
Starting ABA comes with a lot of questions. Here are a few we hear most.
Applied behavior analysis (ABA) is a therapy based on the science of learning and behavior. It breaks skills into small, teachable steps, uses positive reinforcement to build them, and tracks progress so the plan can be adjusted.
ABA is commonly used to support autistic children and children with related developmental needs, in areas like communication, social skills, play and daily living.
For insurance to cover ABA, plans usually need a diagnosis, most often autism spectrum disorder, from a qualified provider. Many plans also ask for a referral or prescription for ABA.
If you don't have a diagnosis yet, reach out anyway. We can talk through next steps.
Very involved, in a good way. Parents and caregivers are part of the team. You'll help set goals, have regular parent training with your BCBA, and learn strategies to use between sessions.
Tell us a little about your family and we'll get back to you within one business day to talk through next steps and coverage.
